Introduction
Fiorucci, the iconic Italian fashion brand, partnered with Elevate Talent to future-proof its business through a digital transformation. The brand centralized all global eCommerce operations at its Milan headquarters, creating a need for a senior digital leader to drive its evolving Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) strategy and expand digital capabilities across marketing and online retail channels.
Challenge
Fiorucci’s centralization of eCommerce left a leadership gap, as the previous London-based head of eCommerce would not relocate. Elevate Talent was tasked with finding a Chief Digital Officer who could unify global DTC operations, scale a high-performing digital team, integrate performance marketing and marketplace strategy, and act as a strategic partner to both the CEO and private equity stakeholders. The role required combining the discipline of enterprise-level digital operations with the entrepreneurial agility needed for a high-growth, culturally-driven brand.
Solution
This search identified Alberto Nictora, formerly Vice President, Global Digital Commerce at Versace. Through Elevate’s approach, Alberto was appointed Chief Digital Officer at Fiorucci, where he now leads global DTC strategy, oversees eCommerce, digital marketplaces, and performance marketing, rebuilds and scales the digital team from Milan, and acts as a key strategic partner to the CEO and private equity stakeholders—driving the brand’s digital transformation and long-term growth.
