Washington Commanders have announced a multi-year sports business agreement with the global sports and entertainment company, Elevate. The agreement has been signed between the two entities before the development of the new stadium in the capital city of Washington DC.

Washington Commanders and Elevate Multi-Year Agreement Highlights New Prospects

With this agreement, the company will assist in the development of the new stadium by focusing on core sectors like planning for premium seating and hospitality, developing premium spaces and bolstering fan experiences. Additionally, the brand will work on unique and creative planning and development of the club arena’s experience centre.

Also, Elevate will heavily concentrate on curating good presentation materials, storytelling assets, and renderings. To assist the club in making go-to-market decisions, the brand will also focus on building insights, strategy, data, and research, which will help in chalking out the best plan possible.

Furthermore, the partnership will also bolster Elevate’s position as a strategic advisor to leading teams, leagues, venues and brands going through periods of rapid growth. For the Commanders, the deal comes at a time when the team aims to build a new era for its supporters, partners and the broader D.C. community. The Commanders’ new stadium, set to open in 2030, will serve as the anchor of a transformational redevelopment of the RFK campus, blending a roofed, world-class venue with a surrounding mixed-use district designed for year-round sports, entertainment and community programming.

Officials’ Point of View on This New Sports Business Prospect

Ben Gumpert, Chief Strategy and Growth Officer at Elevate, remarked, “The Commanders are building something genuinely historic, a new home for one of the NFL's most storied franchises in one of the world's great cities. This is exactly the kind of transformational and generational moment Elevate was built for. We're proud to bring everything we have, commercial strategy, insights, hospitality, creative, and more, to help the Commanders build a landmark that will define the next era of the franchise."

“Elevate has long been a trusted partner, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration as we advance plans to deliver a premier destination that will serve our fans and the broader community," said Andrew Sidney, Chief Ticketing Officer, Washington Commanders. He added, "Their team understands our business, our market and the opportunity ahead, and their expertise will be an important part of bringing that vision to life."

Flavil Hampsten, President of Property Sales at Elevate, commented, “The Commanders are creating one of the most anticipated sports and entertainment destinations in the country, and we're proud to continue our partnership during this exciting phase of the project. Our focus is helping bring the stadium's premium vision to life by connecting fans and partners with hospitality experiences that reflect the energy of Washington, the passion of the Commanders fan base, and position the new stadium as a destination for years to come."

The Commanders are currently faring well in the NFL Pre-season games. The Washington-based team will kick-off their season against Dallas Cowboys on September 14 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
