Following Elevate’s successful appointments of an inaugural CEO, Board, and Chief Operating Officer in 2023, Stadiums Tasmania engaged Elevate to appoint a General Manager to lead the redevelopment of two of the state’s most significant assets, UTAS Stadium and the Silverdome. Stadiums Tasmania is the state-owned authority responsible for managing Tasmania’s major venues and overseeing the delivery of new, multi-purpose infrastructure, including the landmark Macquarie Point Stadium.

Elevate was tasked with conducting a global search to identify a leader capable of balancing strong local knowledge and networks with world-class commercial and stadium operations expertise. The role required an executive who could navigate complex redevelopment programs while positioning Tasmania’s venues to compete on a national and international stage.

Elevate appointed Casey Price, a highly credentialed sports and venue executive with more than 18 years’ experience leading major venue operations at Marvel Stadium and serving as the head of the Suncorp Super Netball League at Netball Australia. Casey brings deep expertise in major event delivery, operational excellence, and commercial strategy. Her appointment provides Stadiums Tasmania with proven leadership to drive the redevelopment of UTAS Stadium and the Silverdome, while elevating the state’s premier sporting infrastructure to support future growth and global relevance.
