Introduction
An SEC school was evaluating the feasibility of introducing a large capital gift requirement as part of its football stadium premium seating renovation. The school needed to assess whether its fan base had both the financial capacity and willingness to contribute at the proposed levels.
Challenge
The school needed to understand which fans could support high-level capital gifts, their history of charitable giving, and their interest in luxury and premium experiences. Insights ensured pricing and messaging would resonate without excluding potential contributors.
Solution
Using EPIC, Elevate analyzed three key audience segments—current fans, local consumers, and target fans—assessing financial capacity, giving history, and interest in premium experiences. The findings revealed strong engagement and interest but highlighted that many fans might be priced out at the highest gift levels, prompting a strategic reevaluation of pricing and messaging to maximize participation and support.
