Browns Open Preview Center as New Stadium Sales Process Kicks Off
The Browns have opened their Huntington Bank Field sales preview center in concert with the launch of suite sales for the new stadium that opens in 2029.
Permanent seat licenses will go on sale in September.
The 4,000-square-foot preview center was designed by Elevate, but includes Advent’s immersive Cube technology, a late add to the project that prompted a redesign of the space.
“We’ll ensure that every sales experience is yours. We’re not showing two fans the same tour,” Haslam Sports Group President Dave Jenkins said. “It’s pretty cool when you’re standing in that Cube and standing on the 50-yard line of the stadium or looking either direction at the video boards or up at the sky.”
The preview center sits within the first building completed at the Browns’ CrossCountry Mortgage Campus. A 6,000-square-foot Legends Global sales office sits adjacent to the preview center.
Visitors are greeted at an entry vestibule, then immediately immersed in Browns heritage with a flow of the team’s mascots and logos since inception. After passing through a reception area, “There is a walk that starts to remind you of why you’re a Browns fan,” Jenkins said, featuring all kinds of Browns artifacts and history.
The next stop is a pump-up space featuring a large screen and a sizzle video, followed by the final space that holds a model of the stadium and the Cube.
“It’s a pretty special model that you’ll be able to walk around and look at,” Jenkins said, “and we’ve got some videoboards around the model that really give you a sense of what we’re creating”
The Cube replaced a replica suite, in part because the Browns and Legends Global can use the Cube to take fans into any part of the stadium, meaning it can be used to sell PSLs for any seat in the stadium, not just suites.
The Browns’ is one of the first, maybe the first preview center project that Elevate and Advent are both involved with; generally, they’ve been competitors in most parts of their businesses, especially sports venue sales preview centers. Additionally, Legends Global, which is selling premium for the Browns, competes with Elevate in that vertical.
“We pride ourselves on good processes that rewards the group we think gives us the best chance at success,” Jenkins said.
