Gilly most recently served as Head of Portfolio & Operations Recruiting at CPI, one of the foremost search firms focused on the private equity industry, where he led searches across deal and operating roles for leading private equity firms and their portfolio companies. An experienced entrepreneur and advisor, Gilly previously founded Pivot Management Partners, an executive search firm in the sports and entertainment space and served as an operating executive for a venture-backed startup acquired by Google. At Elevate Talent, he will drive C-suite searches focusing on the convergence of private capital investment in sports, entertainment, media and lifestyle. He is based in New York, with a significant presence in the Bay Area.
McNaught joins Elevate from Russell Reynolds Associates, where he established and led the Financial Officers Practice for the Social Impact Sector and served as a key leader of the firm’s Corporate Office practice within the Nonprofit, Social Impact, and Sports sectors. With extensive experience working with Boards and leading CEO, COO, CFO, and other C-suite placements, McNaught has executed high-impact searches for clients including the USTA, McKinsey, X (Twitter), MacArthur Foundation, and Instacart, as well as the family offices and foundations of Arthur Blank, Steve Ballmer, Russell Wilson and Ciara, Rihanna, and Laurene Powell Jobs. At Elevate Talent, he will lead a cross-sector practice focused on senior leadership and board appointments across the experience economy. He is based in Sacramento.
