Kynisca, the first global multi-club organization dedicated to women’s football, today announced the appointment of Rupert Yorke as Chief of Staff.

‍

Yorke will work closely with Kynisca Founder Michele Kang and the executive leadership team to help drive Kang’s priorities and key strategic initiatives across Kynisca. He will help coordinate priorities across the organization’s clubs and functions, ensure important initiatives continue to move forward, and support Kang on key internal and external engagements.

‍

“We are building Kynisca for the long term, and that requires more than ambition,” said Michele Kang, Founder of Kynisca. “It requires the right people, clear priorities, and an organization that can execute consistently as we grow. Rupert understands how to operate at the center of a complex organization, keep people focused on what matters, and drive disciplined execution. I’m very pleased to have him join our team.”

‍

Yorke brings significant experience operating at the highest levels of government and in complex, fast-moving environments. Prior to joining the private sector, he spent more than seven years in senior roles across the UK Government, including at HM Treasury, the Home Office and the Cabinet Office, and serving as Deputy Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. In those roles, he worked across government on strategy, policy, communications, and some of the most significant issues facing the UK.

‍

Most recently, Yorke served as Senior Managing Director and Partner at Forward Global, advising organizations on public affairs, policy, and strategic communications.

‍

“I am excited to join Kynisca at such an important moment for the organization and for women’s football,” said Yorke. “Kynisca has a clear vision for the future of the game and the ambition to deliver on it. What particularly attracted me was the opportunity to work with the visionary businesswoman and investor Michele Kang and a team that is building something with the potential to create lasting change in women’s football and global sports across multiple continents. I look forward to helping turn that ambition into action as Kynisca continues to thrive and grow.”

‍
Yorke will be based in London and will work across Kynisca and its clubs globally. His appointment is another important step in building the strong, connected organization needed to support Kynisca’s clubs, people, and long-term ambitions.
