Introduction
Belk, a legacy retail leader in the Southeast, sought to solidify its presence as a pillar of the Charlotte community through high-profile sports marketing. Elevate was engaged to manage and optimize Belk’s multi-property partnership portfolio, including major agreements with the Carolina Panthers (NFL), Charlotte Hornets (NBA), and the Charlotte Sports Foundation. Our mission was to transform these relationships from standard sponsorships into a cohesive, high-impact regional strategy.
Challenge
Despite a deep history in the Carolinas, Belk faced the complex task of managing multiple high-stakes partnerships simultaneously while ensuring each delivered a distinct return on investment. Belk wanted to re-enter the sports marketing world after a 5 year break.
Solution
Elevate executed high-impact activations such as the Spectrum Center concourse entitlement and the "Keep Pounding" High School Classic, while utilizing EPIC Research and data-driven frameworks to measure ROI and ensure all investments aligned with Belk’s community-centric pillars.
