Elevate's executive search team conducted a comprehensive global search spanning North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The mandate required identifying a rare profile: a senior executive with expertise in media, commercial strategy, competition, and content, combined with the vision to help modernize golf.

As TMRW grew into a multisport operator, and the founding CEO's role expanded, they sought to appoint the first President of the TGL and WTGL, two highly visible, next-generation golf leagues backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. The role required a globally credible leader with significant commercial acumen, who could bridge traditional golf with innovation, and help launch and scale a new fan-centric format at the intersection of sport, media, and technology.

Rufus Hack was selected as President of TGL and WTGL. A globally respected golf executive, he previously served as COO of the PGA European Tour and Ryder Cup Europe, and later as CEO of Hawk-Eye Innovations and Sony Sports.

His vision is closely aligned with TMRW Sports’ mission to modernize and expand the sport through the integration of media,
technology, and new competitive formats. He brings a rare combination of golf-specific credibility, global
relationships, and proven operational leadership that is directly relevant to the success of the TGL and WTGL.
