Seeking to leverage unique culinary experiences as both a client acquisition tool and a high-level networking asset, UHC partnered with Elevate to overcome the challenge of executing these complex events on a nationwide scale without internal resources.
Challenge
UnitedHealthcare (UHC) was looking to enhance its national slate of offsite events, conferences, and summits by incorporating elevated culinary experiences that could both differentiate their programming and drive deeper guest engagement. Beyond simply providing food and beverage, UHC aimed to create meaningful, hospitality-driven moments that would serve as relationship-building tools for prospective clients and foster stronger connections among attendees. However, executing chef-led, high-quality experiences across multiple markets presented a significant operational challenge. UHC lacked the internal infrastructure, culinary network, and localized expertise required to consistently deliver premium, scalable experiences nationwide.

The team curated bespoke dining experiences tailored to each market, ranging from a high-energy cookbook signing and appearance by Pitmaster Rodney Scott at Chief’s in Nashville—featuring a live band, leather embossing, and customizable hat stations—to an immersive farm tour and live fire cooking under the stars in Carlsbad, CA. By aligning chef selection and restaurant partnerships with the goals of each individual event, Elevate ensured every activation felt intentional, locally relevant, and premium. Whether facilitating pizza making lessons at avec in Chicago or an intimate private dinner in the downstairs Wine Bar at Peasant in NYC, the team focused on high-touch engagement. From hands-on demonstrations to larger-scale activations, Elevate’s expertise in menu development and execution ensured every experience, regardless of size, was a sophisticated reflection of UHC’s overarching vision.
