CookUnity is a chef-driven, prepared meal delivery service that offers fully cooked, restaurant-quality meals that are fresh, never frozen.

At the start of the COVID-pandemic, with restaurants all over the country closing indefinitely, CookUnity wanted to partner with Chefs to help bring their meals to diners to enjoy in their own homes. But they had challenges with recruiting the right chefs who fit the right criteria for the platform: name recognition, diversity of cuisine, the ability to oversee an offsite culinary team, and the desire to scale their dishes for a mass audience.

Starting in NYC, CookUnity worked with Elevate Culinary to identify the right chefs to onboard onto the platform, including Chef’s Marc Forgione, Akhtar Nawab, Pat Lafrieda and Soulayphet Schwader. Going beyond NYC, the culinary team also brought Ludo Lefebvre to the Los Angeles market, Chef Michelle Bernstein to the South Florida market and Fabio Viviani to Chicago
