Introduction
Elevate Talent was appointed to lead a global search to secure an inspirational, dynamic, and commercially focused leader capable of driving long-term organizational and financial stability.
Challenge
Previous Commissioner Mollie Marcoux Samaan left the LPGA after three years in post. There was a critical need to appoint an inspirational, dynamic, commercially-focused leader to ensure an organizationally sound, financially stable, and thriving future for the LPGA.
Solution

Elevate Talent conducted a thorough, far-reaching, global search to identify best-in-class leaders possessing the commercial acumen, financial prowess, global savvy, drive, and energy required to transform the LPGA.

The resulting candidate slate was intentionally diverse, featuring high-caliber executives across Fortune 500 brands, financial services, professional sports, and strategy consulting.

Craig Kessler emerged as the standout choice. Bringing an extensive leadership background across private equity, strategy consulting, and consumer products, Kessler was exceptional in articulating a transformative vision and ambitious roadmap for the organization. Following search committee interviews, thorough formal and soft reference checks with Board Members and key staff, and a comprehensive Hogan Assessment, the organization reached a unanimous decision. The LPGA held complete conviction that Kessler embodies the drive, energy, and commercial leadership that are mission-critical for the organization to survive and thrive.
